Black Panther: Wakanda Forever combines ideas from more than one period of the comics, so its source material is better read as a group than as one direct adaptation. Start with Fantastic Four #4, then compare it with Black Panther: World of Wakanda #1–6 and Doomwar #1–6. Reading the references alongside the movie makes it easier to see what the filmmakers retained, combined or reinvented for the screen.
