Description

An original 1974 Bronze Age Marvel horror comic featuring Man-Thing, presented in the collectible UK 7p pence-price edition.

In “Deathwatch!”, the horrors of the Florida Everglades continue as Man-Thing becomes embroiled in another supernatural nightmare. Written by Steve Gerber, this issue captures the eerie atmosphere, strange creatures and psychological horror that made the original Man-Thing series a standout among Marvel’s 1970s titles.

The striking cover by Mike Ploog features Man-Thing emerging from the swamp amid a collection of grotesque creatures, while a terrified woman desperately tries to escape in a small boat. A superb example of classic Bronze Age monster artwork.
