    Origin story

    Suicide Squad

Task Force X, better known as the Suicide Squad, is a covert government program that recruits imprisoned super-villains for missions considered too dangerous or politically sensitive for conventional agents. Amanda Waller controls the modern incarnation, offering reduced sentences while using severe measures to ensure compliance. The result is an unstable team in which self-interest, survival and occasional heroism constantly collide.
