Comics behind the movie
The comic background to Elektra comes from several pieces of source material rather than a single issue reproduced on screen. Start with Daredevil #168–181, then compare it with Elektra: Assassin #1–8 and Elektra Lives Again. Reading the references alongside the movie makes it easier to see what the filmmakers retained, combined or reinvented for the screen.
