In “A Matter of Light and Death!”, Superman has been dangerously supercharged as a result of Brainiac’s schemes. After an encounter with Hawkman aboard the Justice League satellite, Superman takes the fight directly to Brainiac, using the immense energy of a supernova to overcome the villain’s defences.
