Comics behind the movie
The comic background to Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance comes from several pieces of source material rather than a single issue reproduced on screen. Start with Marvel Spotlight #5, then compare it with Ghost Rider #68–81 and Spirits of Vengeance #1. Reading the references alongside the movie makes it easier to see what the filmmakers retained, combined or reinvented for the screen.
