An original The Invincible Iron Man #111, published by Marvel Comics in June 1978, featuring the sought-after UK 12p price variant.
This Bronze Age issue features “The Man and the Mayhem!”, with Iron Man battling the monstrous Manticore in a dramatic cover by Keith Pollard and Bob Layton. UK price variants from this period were produced in lower numbers than their US counterparts, making them increasingly popular with Marvel collectors.
The comic shown is complete and displays very well, with vibrant colours, a clean spine and strong gloss. There is only light handling wear, minor corner wear and a few small spine stresses visible from the front cover. Based on the photos, this copy appears to grade around Fine+ to Very Fine (6.5–8.0).
An excellent collectible for Iron Man fans, Bronze Age Marvel collectors and those seeking UK price variants.
