Thor: Ragnarok combines ideas from more than one period of the comics, so its source material is better read as a group than as one direct adaptation. Start with Thor #337–382, then compare it with Incredible Hulk #92–105 (Planet Hulk) and Thor #127–128 (Ragnarok). Reading the references alongside the movie makes it easier to see what the filmmakers retained, combined or reinvented for the screen.
