Thor is the Asgardian God of Thunder, son of Odin and one of his realm's greatest warriors. In Marvel's classic origin, Odin sends the proud Thor to Earth to learn humility, where he lives for a time as physician Donald Blake before rediscovering the enchanted hammer Mjolnir and his true identity. Thor thereafter divides his responsibilities between Asgard, Earth and the wider cosmos.
