The Amazing Spider-Man – #403 – 1995 – Marvel Comics – Carnage Appearance / Trial of Peter Parker Part 2

Description

The Amazing Spider-Man #403, published by Marvel Comics in 1995. This is the Direct Edition and features the story “Judgement at Bedlam” / “The Trial of Peter Parker, Part 2: Savage Judgement!”, forming part of the wider 1990s Clone Saga.

Peter Parker’s trial continues as Spider-Man becomes caught up in Judas Traveller’s twisted proceedings at Ravencroft. The issue brings together a formidable group of enemies, including Carnage, Shriek, Vermin, Carrion and the Chameleon, while Peter’s identity and fate remain at the centre of the storyline.

Key significance: Carnage appearance, Clone Saga issue and Part 2 of the four-part Trial of Peter Parker storyline. The striking Mark Bagley cover prominently features Carnage alongside several Spider-Man villains. This isn’t a major first-appearance key, but the Carnage cover/appearance gives #403 noticeably stronger collector appeal than many surrounding issues.
