The X-Men are Marvel mutants whose stories use extraordinary abilities to explore prejudice, identity, coexistence and conflict. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1963, the team’s films span multiple timelines and generations, with Professor X, Magneto and Wolverine recurring as central figures.
Start with the essential comics, follow the character through the movie library, then continue into related stories and live shop inventory.

Professor Charles Xavier gathers young mutants at his School for Gifted Youngsters, teaching them to understand their powers while pursuing his hope of peaceful coexistence between mutants and humans. Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast, Angel and Iceman form the original X-Men. The team later expands internationally, but its central mission remains protecting a world that often fears and persecutes mutantkind.
